I have lived all my life in Halifax. For 26 years, I owned and operated 5 Family type restaurants. I got a lucky break in 1980 when I had an opportunity to build my first pub. It was called PEDDLERS PUB on Granville St. There wasn’t alot around in those days, so we at least had a little time to learn the business, and boy, did we learn fast. In 1989 I opened JJ ROSSY’s, right across from my original Peddlers. This was a very large night club…capacity was 1200. From there I opened 3 more over the next 7 years. After working at this profession for a very long time, I decided to sell it all! I took a year off to decide what I could contribute to society ,then with my fiance’ Paula Paquin, we decided to get into real estate. All I can say… I wish I got into this business when I was younger, this business is so REWARDING ~ helping clients find their DREAM HOME and watching their faces light up! It is actually a double WOW! and we both enjoy giving service to our clients immensley, always going ~ “above and beyond” what is expected of a sales person.
